i wish someone made an application that was both communication & location aware.
i’m so used to being able to tell when i get a text message on my phone (*ding*) or an email on my pc (*quack*) or even a call or voicemail on the landline (*boop*), why can’t these cues, these customizable alerts, why can’t they follow me around? why won’t my tv tell me i have an incoming phone call (and who it is), or my pc tell me that i just got a text message, or my iPhone tells me that i have a package waiting for me at home?
these, to me, seem like almost trivial tasks in todays world. i can easily call up just about any of that from a browser as it is. where are the services that make “the web” more transparent?
