What a doozy...
I just had an idea about using a predetermined, multilaminar CAD/CAM manufactured substrate to allow the ventallation of a super-cavitating envelope that could be designed (cheaply) based of a set of predetermined hull variables. In stead of a quarter mile on land, why not race a full mile under the sea?

Instead of reactivley searching for whales using fancy sensors, why not apply a latent sonal cue that whales can learn to recognize and steer clear from? Something in their rang of hearing, that isn’t (or maybe is) irritatingto them, but cintextually close to the same frequencies they are used to using to determine the range of an object…

I just realized, that if had ever been interested in the idea of an OLPC ( the infamous $200.00 laptop) than there is almost no difference if I were to buy an $800.00 laptop and selling it to a student for $600.00.
