i've just read an interesting story about the newest youtube star,
geriatric1927. It's an interesting video stream to be sure, but it got me thinking a little bit.
In this day and age, as I see more people with an above average intelligence or ability, I think back to when I was just a kid. Like I'm sure everyone else has heard, I had limitless potential, and it was a let down that I didn't accomplish more. While I cannot blame anyone else for the desiscions or actions that I had taken, I cannot help but wonder if I could have been more had I only a good mentor. Maybe thats what makes me (and record numbers of others) watch this man's youtube stream.
It seem that there is a shortage of mentors now a days, and with the base level of intelligence increasing so quickly, more and more of these young adults are crying out for them. I wonder where they have all gone...
